Our Commitment to Health, Safety, and Security
At KIDS Place Learning Center and Daycare we take health and safety very seriously.
For the safety of our staff and students the doors are locked during the school day and visitors are buzzed in. Once in the building they are always in a classroom with adult supervision. When outside, the kids will always enjoy a fun outdoor experience inside the parameter of a fenced in area with adult supervision.
During nap time, the kids are checked on regularly visually and within hearing distance. They are laid down on their backs in safe and secure cots and cribs that are age-appropriate.

To prepare for natural emergencies like fires or tornadoes, the staff is provided with comprehensive training. Each classroom is supplied with emergency supplies. In our infant rooms, there are emergency cots that can be wheeled out quickly. Every teacher is certified regularly in First Aid and CPR.

Health and cleanliness are practiced daily. Frequent hand washing prevents the spread of germs. Children are monitored for illness symptoms and parents are contacted immediately when the child feels ill to help prevent the spread of illness. Classrooms are routinely cleaned and disinfected. Toys are frequently disinfected and checked for broken or loose parts.
