Our Curriculum

At Kids Place: Early Learning Childcare, we know that these ages are some of the most important stages in learning. Our curriculum will contain the Indiana standards for kindergarten. The Indiana Early Learning Standards include:

English/Language Arts - One of the most important accomplishments a child makes during their first five years of life is acquiring language and using it to communicate. They will have foundational skills in print, books, writing, listening, and speaking.

Mathematics - Mathematics will include STEM activities. Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Science - Helps children understand the natural world through a process of scientific inquiry channeling a child’s curiosity and fostering their investigative skills.

Social Studies - For infants and toddlers, it helps the young children learn through their senses and establishing relationships. For children in preschool, our curriculum teaches self-development and key understandings of the social sciences.

Student Wellbeing - The importance of child development as it relates to building relationships, managing conflict, and self-regulation cannot be overstated.

Approaches to Play and Learning - Addresses the developmental skills that aid in the processes of planning, meeting goals, managing conflict, self-control, following multiple-step directions, and staying focused.

Creative Arts - The purpose of creative arts is to provide a range of activities for children to express themselves.

Physical Health and Growth - Children learn through active movement and are continually refining their senses and motor skills.

We will also be including our Christian-based curriculum that will include Bible stories through Orange Curriculum.
